Pre-registration rewards is live in the Play Store, starting with the upcoming Westworld game. More pre-orders = more in-game features at launch for free. Tiers can be set by developers, and users can see how close goals are at any time.

Play Store is also A/B testing a details page that offers different info for people who have the game installed vs seeing the app for the first time. Could possibly become a full-time feature in the future.

Google Instant Apps (http://g.co/play/instant ) lets you play a few levels of a game instantly, without installing a game from the Play Store. Google says early testing shows 4%-17% increase in people keeping an app on their phone after trying with Instant.
