Firstly, wasn't this issue found to be wholly inconsistent, game engine and display driver dependant, and fairly easy to work around? Secondly, wasn't the battery drain found to be only ~10%/hour... which would outlast many VR stints, anyway? What say you, @Daniel_Rubino?

Not a justification/compromise I find acceptable, much less reasonable. Lots of things that computer is good at, VR isn't one IMO.

Damn.. I wonder if if it just isn't coming with a powerful enough power supply. Looking at the specs, looks like the 15 inch has 95 watt. Gaming laptops I've owned were always at least 120 watt.

It's a limitation of USB-C against the power hungry GPU. Can't deliver enough power to keep up.

That's funny. I had considered getting it for a hot minute, because on paper it sounds like a perfect little kit for portable VR/Mixed Reality. Now I know. Thanks for saving me the headache! :)

I've got the sb2 15" the MSI GS63VR and both do this, at least with Windows mixed reality headsets.

As someone who has to travel a lot for esport events but still loves VR, the Razer laptops have been AMAZING!
