Actual things my extended family has said to me recently: You're getting thin! Be careful not to get TOO thin though. How are you such a good cook when you don't eat anymore? What do you do now that you can't go to fast food places?

One of the very definitions of happiness is a plate of cookies. But it’s far from the only definition, and if that’s how they see you — or how they see happiness — then they need some help.

Yea, milk is needed as well

Yeah, this is like the same family members who comment on my weight issues are the ones who get offended when I'm not eating giant plates of the cheese filled buttery dishes they bring to the holidays. I just can't win.

I went from 245 to about 150 quickly, people say things to thin people that they wouldn't dare say to an overweight person...

I'm going through the same thing. I'm at 188 right now and down about 90lbs since March but I hate being called "skinny". I'm definitely far from skinny. I just remind myself that misery loves company, at least in my case.
