I live and die by my Vibrams.

I've done vibrams before, but I need to be able to wear them when not working out and explaining my weird toe shoes is tedious

Brooks shoes made running possible for me. Highly recommended their shoe finder: https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/ShoeFinder …

Very individualized situation. Best bet would something from Brooks, Asics, Hoka One, Saucony, or New Balance. I run in Nike because they're comfortable for me. You should get
@500 miles out of them before needing new ones. YMMV. Literally.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Depends a lot on your comfort needs. I’ve had the best luck with brooks, wife uses hoka one, I think rule of thumb for how long they last is 300-500mi.

Asics gel pulse 8. Nothing crazy expensive but very nice to run on, the gel soles are really comfortable.
