How does it work on Android? On iOS it's right there on the lock screen. A swipe makes pass appear and cranks up brightness

Can be set to do the same, frequently isn't. Lots of folks on iOS and Android prefer to use the company apps, which ignores those policies

Since when does Android have a dedicated pass manager like iOS does?

Been a part of Now/Assistant/Wallet since 2012. No dedicated app necessary, it's just in your notifications contextually.

But does it actually work? Last I checked airlines have to update their apps to integrate into Now and only like 3 ever did

Email? That's clunky as hell. And means it won't be updated unless another email is issued. That's a hacky way to do it.

In what situation would you update a boarding pass and not get an email about it?

All things Delta emails me about (can't speak for others). To be clear, I use both Wallet and Assistant. I know iOS has the better setup.

Doesn't really matter though, they're both awful because people are bad at using them. One being less awful doesn't really matter.
