50-mile bike ride with an always-on Apple Watch. @RussellHolly compares the extremes. How do you think it turned out?https://www.imore.com/apple-watch-series-5-battery-test?utm_source=im_tw&utm_medium=tw_card&utm_content=57598&utm_campaign=social …

Replying to @iMore @russellholly
While I think the test was valid, I think is one thing you may have over looked. Whether or not you had the screen to come on with wrist raise. I commute 500-700 mi/month, on a ride that long, you could be moving your hand position and the one screen come on and the doesn’t not.

I turn wrist raise off when I ride longer than 25-30 miles to ensure longer battery life. Mine is series 2, but it’s an issue. I’m looking at upgrading to 5, not saying you have to redo the results, just something to think about in a real world test. Loved the article!
