This is a bad take. Like fat-scales, it's about the consistency of the data. Sure, a polysomnogram is better. They also cost $2-3K and insurance usually gives you one shot every few years. But when you combine Sp02 sensors, which Fitbit has (not in use yet, but Honor does) with resting HR, movement, it can serve as a *guide*, not a diagnosis. Meanwhile, a-fib effects 0.5% of the population, so people get an Apple Watch? Reverse priorities.

It's easy though to say something "sucks" without any actual data to back it up though. For some people these things do *help* and that is what matters, not tech bloggers w/out medical backgrounds deciding for them.
