FYI: If I see a resume with a bitmoji on it, I'm going to keep reading because I wouldn't have made that decision and that tells me you might have some ideas I might not have. Also, we're hiring. https://www.mobilenations.com/careers https://twitter.com/saschasegan/status/1161629574658174976 …

FYI: If I see a resume with a bitmoji on it, I will set it on fire. I will not pay any attention to anything else on it. Only the bitmoji is enough to consign it to a pit of eternal torment. Love y'all. https://twitter.com/TaylorLorenz/status/1161629153755586561 …

I like how this tweet doesn't explicitly say anything about whether or not you'd hire a bitmojier xD I too would keep reading the resume out of curiosity, then set it on fire

It's neither qualifying nor disqualifying for me, but it does make the resume stand out among all the other boring one sheets so I'd at least keep reading.

Time to polish up the resume! Are published writing samples ok to include even if off topic of position?

Sascha strikes me as a lot of fun at parties.

Well, so think I would actually use a Bitmoji on my CV.pic.twitter.com/I6FfW08GcP

I'm going to apply with a resume of only memes, and various emojis. You're welcome.

Both approaches are valid. It's called chaffing the wheat. The person that hates the emojis will likely be a bad boss for the person that likes them. If you like them, you'd likely be a better fit. So, in the end, it works out better for all parties.

I'm ambivalent towards them. Wouldn't use them myself, don't mind their existence on a resume. But I'm pretty sure rejected creative, fun people in a creative industry isn't a great plan.
