I find that my Fitbit dramatically overshoots calories burned too. It'll often say I've burned 1500+ calories on the bike when the reality is closer to 800-900 when measured by my power meter. It's insane.

I don't know if it's just me but I've never really gotten wildly inaccurate data from my
@WithingsEN trackers, I'm sure they're not 100% accurate but I feel pretty confident in the data they provide. -

My wife's Fitbit gives her steps for rocking in her office chair. I've had to tell her that there's no way she is walking 35000 steps per day.

True, even my Apple Watch Series 4 and Garmin Forerunner 945 gave me 5,000 steps while I scrubbed my kitchen/dinning room floor this morning. It was an hour job, but it dint involve close to 2 miles of walking. I am guessing that my arm motion was recorded as steps
