Lots of folks getting to try Stadia and Project xCloud for the first time this week, and the reactions to both seem universally positive. But the demos of these services are happening in the most ideal environments, on purpose. So, cool, we know they work in perfect conditions.
I'm not sure what you think this means. 400 miles is not a significant distance for a network demo, especially in one of the most technically developed parts of the country.

400 miles can almost cover the entirety of the Britain so yeah that’s pretty significant. For reference the island of Great Britain which encompasses England, Scotland, and Wales is 600 miles by 271 miles. So yeah 400 miles away and almost no latency is pretty phenomenal.
