Yeah our financial people work hard to try and make sure this doesn't happen. Still does. Sucks. Especially since the last working day before, means that the case carts are often already pulled and that OR time can't be easily given to someone else either. Screwed on both sides.

I think this was just a miscommunication. The hospital seemed to not know I was staying overnight until yesterday, which I'm sure changes all sorts of things.
