For the uninitiated, this is never not an awkward, uncomfortable experience. You don't have to look far to see examples of what should be a fairly simple make change in a database going terribly wrong for a variety of reasons. This is frequently a painful experience.

We walk in, sit down, and she very carefully explains she had a legal name change and just needed the account to reflect that. She had an ID with her old name, the form outlining the legal change, and previous bills from

The whole exchange took maybe five minutes, and it was done. The representative on the store couldn't have been nicer about the whole thing, made the change right away, and it was immediately reflected on the account. Hands down the fastest I have ever seen this happen.

No discussion of transitioning required, either. Just "I have a new name, here's the paperwork, please do the thing." And the guy couldn't have been happier to oblige. It should always be this straightforward and simple. Huge shout out to
