I've hit the 30-day mark of getting up before noon. I know this sounds like such a small thing, but for me and my #depression saturated brain, this is huge. I've been mostly getting up around 10am and putting myself to bed by midnight. #babysteps

Considering that I have routinely been a person who sleeps until 3pm and stays up until dawn, this is huge. Part of it is that i'm not living in a house that I hate that is terrible for my mental health. But I also decided back in October to start making better choices...

for myself. I started to quit smoking, I've started a very smol workout routine, and I'm walking a mile or more everyday with my dog. I'm still arguing with a brain that doesn't create all the chemicals I need. But it's progress, and I'll take it.
