Facebook throwing Quest devs under the bus by creating an expectation (hostage situation) for cross-buy is really messed up. Even moreso when you realize that the value proposition of doing a Quest port was predicated on the idea of doubling sales by selling the game twice.

The issue isn't the feature's existence. The issue is the way in which the feature is being repped _at_ launch, and pressure is being applied to devs to accede to this sales model without compensation.

No I get it, and totally agree it should be left to developers to decide. But I also think it's important to highlight this as something not being sold so much as answered, if that makes sense.
