Thanks, I hate it. (Working from home). I unfortunately don't have a laptop and even if I did, working in VR means I can't do it away from home, like, ever :L But yeah very solid suggestions, all of them.

Even with some of the newer Razer Blade Pro systems you don't have enough juice to work in a coffee shop or something? (he asks in total ignorance, knowing full well you've done the research)

I would absolutely love to work from home and have been looking into opportunities.

You should take a look at the things we're hiring for <.<

Time zones are where the boundaries really come into play. I felt kind of bad about it for a bit of a second, but just saying you won't do meetings at 630pm because your west coast team mates (im one time zone over) work late (Bay area is full of workaholics) is important.

Yeah! Bay area people can be nuts

Just started working from home this past Friday! I was so bored on day one. It's going to take some real adjustment to get used to not seeing co-workers everyday.pic.twitter.com/VVCk4o93Io

That's a solid set up!

Question for you: in your step 3 ("Get out of the house every once in a while"), do you mean to occasionally take work away from home, to make a point to leave the house on a regular basis, or both?
-
Both. I enjoy occasionally working from Not My Desk, but also know way too many people who work from home and only leave the house for groceries.
