Fun fact - never. I have never really felt like I "belonged" in this space, even when I'm in the middle of it getting things done and feeling super productive. I love my job, but it never doesn't feel like someone might figure out I'm not supposed to be here tomorrow.https://twitter.com/jaffameister/status/1110149062450401281 …

Okay tech Twitter, how about a nicer one? Tell me about the moment where you suddenly felt like you were a part of the industry that you work in. The moment where you said, "oh, shit! I'm a person in the thing now!" 💖

you have helped me feel bit by bit more like I belong where I do by being where you are and lifting me up, for whatever that is worth to you.

Hey @TheBrokenNerd83 this is my boss Russell, he is as awesome at his sphere as you are at yours. Imposter syndrome is real, but be like Russell, don't let it stop you making awesome things.

Russell, you are literally the best person I could have ever asked to work for. I, too, wouldn't be where I am without you OR be able to thank you for it. You're an absolute superstar who I wish to squeeze to death with hugs and then steal your dog.

You being able to openly and publicly admit this helps me more than you know. You're one of the best people I know at what you do and you know how I feel about that already. Thanks for sharing these words today. I just so happened to be needing them more than ever today.

Many professionals deal with Imposter Syndrome. I think it's a good sign you're aware and competent enough about your job's responsibilities to realize there's a terrible amount you don't yet, and might never fully understand. And that's ok!
