Google has the compute and GPU pull off the instances and it would probably require a subscription, but man, I just have no faith that latency will not be an issue.

IF they can pull it off though, they could basically run roughshod over twitch by including some super tight integration to youtube.

Won't matter in most single player games, will matter in games where frames REALLY matter. IE fighting games, where input lag can be the difference between winning and losing.

Fighting games are a genuine concern, which is why it was cool to see Google is working directly with "an undisclosed AAA fighting game dev" for a launch title. Worth keeping an eye on, for sure.

Yep. Showing Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a beautiful tech demo, but not indicative of much. Showing DOOM right next to it, which is happening at GDC, is a little more impressive
