Vive Reality is a new system aimed at replacing the Vive software into something more like a ubiquitous spatial computing experience.
The idea is to essentially live in VR, a single experience that lets you use the PC bits and the gaming bits and the actual computing bits into a VR-focused system.
There's a brief demo, and it's clear this is competing on some level with the Windows Mixed Reality Skyloft look and feel.
To run Vive Reality, the Vive Cosmos headset is a new standalone 6DoF headset with matching 6DoF controllers. Two cameras on the front, two on the sides.
The controllers use a light pattern to make tracking easily, and connects to your phone as well as your PC.
