No surprises in Sundar Pichai's prepared statements to Congress today. He sees Google as largely apolitical (what does this mean?), privacy is a huge focus (totally is now, hasn't always been) and the company works very hard to ensure there's no bias in its products (debatable)
I'm sure the questions of bias on behalf of Congress are largely referring to a political bias and not a competitive one, but that's the part of this conversation I'm most interested in. Between YouTube and Maps, content moderation and bias are complicated topics.
