The fact that we're all becoming fluent in "autocorrect" is a spectacular failure of technology.
Eh, our brains have always been really good at correcting common errors in text. I don't think autocorrect fixes are really a new thing for brains.

I get your point, but it's a very specific skill that I seem to be getting better at. I'm learning how it thinks. It should be the other way around. There has not been enough progress on that front lately.

I agree autocorrect seems to have stagnated, especially trace-based. I know a lot of folks who would rather talk to type now, which is crazy to me.
