Hey, smart outlet design people? A moment of your time. It is never ok to use the bucket of blue LEDs you have at your bench when building something that might go in a bedroom. Nobody wants a bright blue light in their room at night. Nobody.

If only a company made one that allowed you to turn the light on and off, or customize the color. Oh, wait...https://store.idevicesinc.com/idevices-switch/ …

Electrical tape is my new best friend. I like covering ALL the LEDs in the bedroom

I think it's because 'design' people think red, which is a better color for night is "bad" whereas blue is "good". This is why I just throw some tape over the light these days to remove it entirely.. or a damn good Sharpie.

Nobody wants an extra light in their bedroom period. Especially one that can’t even be turned off. 😖

We no longer need a light in our bathroom at night due to the f**king brilliant bright, flashing blue light from my electric toothbrush. I can see it from across the hall in my bedroom.

It's really bizarre that companies do this. And so many of them do! Clearly not actually testing in real world environment. Reminds me of all the wireless chargers which would emit an obnoxiously loud beep when phone is placed on it. Instantly unusable in bedroom.
