Doing a 40 mile bike ride before you start your work day is really tough because the whole rest of the day your body is all PUT FOOD IN ME ASSHOLE WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS and when your home office is right next to the kitchen that relationship is complicated
It took me a while to be able to do it without feeling like death

I'm on decent shape but 40 miles would def kill me. Also I have killer sciatica down my left leg so that doesn't help much. I do walk from 6 to 11 miles a day at work though.
