Anybody out there have moments from VR games that have you laughing weeks or even months later because whatever you did in the game is exactly the kind of nonsense you would do in real life and you were just so happy that it worked? Here's mine.

At GDC this year I spent a few minutes playing
@OwlchemyLabs Vacation Simulator, and in the demo you are prompted to take a photo of yourself with an instant photo camera. Every time I pushed the shutter, a new photo would come out. In seconds, I had a pile of these photos.1 reply 0 retweets 5 likesShow this thread -
I was supposed to be doing something else, but the pile of instant photos reminded me of when my friends made a house of cards using instant photos. It was just this silly thing I had a brief memory of, but when I picked up the photos in Vacation Simulator i could stack them!

Took a few seconds to get the balancing act right, but at least half of my brief demo was building this house of cards out of instant photos just because I could. This is the kind of thing you can only really do in a VR game, and it stays with you. Makes me smile all the time.

YES! I find myself using the word experience a lot in describing these things. You are 100% right.
