    Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching , but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!

    Our favorites when we get a babysitter - Peche, GW Fins, Cochon, Carrollton Market. The rooftop bar at the WWII museum is also close to Peche and Cochon for pre-dinner drinks.

    Next month we have three nights child-free in New Orleans, first adult getaway in forever. Where must we eat?

    Um, at least you remember to bring something! Valentine’s Day was a parenting fail at the Santana/Becherer house.

    Me, buying Valentines for my kid’s daycare class: “Maybe some stickers...not candy, b’c I’m considerate of other parents who may not appreciate sugary snacks...” Me, digging through my kid’s bag of Valentines from school: “WHERE IS THE CANDY? Freaking woke parents these days.”

    The three-year agreement includes annual raises of 3% for all workers. In the event of layoffs, all workers will receive 8 weeks severance, plus one week per year of employment. Workers asked to be “on call” on holidays or weekends will receive comp time
