Micro waves are lower energy than visible light too, but they can cook chicken ;) I know what they mean but the *photon energy* vs cell damage equation isn't quite so simple

..microwaves oven use dielectric heating, vibrating water molecules to produce heat. It is not a direct / indirect DNA damage; it's just a thermal effect, and one that has to be specially designed in appropriate resonance chambers to occur.

I'm not sure about the line "However, there is a group of scientists and doctors who have written to the EU calling for the rollout of 5G to be halted." Whenever I've crawled down that particular rabbit hole the few "scientists and doctors" you find have dubious credentials.

In a world of 7 billion people, if you look hard enough you can find 300 "scientists" that believe the Earth if flat and moves around on the back of a giant turtle.

"and from natural sources such as sunlight": Sunlight isn't a natural source of Electromagnetic radiation it *is* electromagnetic radiation. I suspect that it's peoples lack of understanding of what EMR is that causes some of this concern, they just hear the word radiation.

Published research clearly indicates the higher radiation densities with thousands of 5G antennas near homes and schools is not safe. https://medium.com/swlh/ten-corrections-to-william-j-78094d3c1aee …
