I know app CEOs who would wrestle a hog in jello to get 10% of the media coverage he is generating right now. Do you know how hard it’s to get NY Mag to cover an app?

You usually don't want the lede to be "were going to write about something else, but this guy is such a big idiot we're gonna focus on that"

Except getting coverage for a new app is so insanely hard it’s one of those unusual circumstances you do want it!

Need to agree with Tero here — the public is quick to forget and the free press gets this in front of infinitely more eyes. Guarantee this will cause an uptick — brief or prolonged, who knows — for the app.
