      The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating. Evidence is being collected. The medical examiner will ID the man who was killed. An adult woman in the car with him was not injured, neither were officers.

      About three dozen people gathered outside police tape at Holiday station on 36th and Cedar where police shot and killed a man after a traffic stop tonight. It's very cold, 20 degrees, and people breaking out handwarmers. More people appear to be arriving.pic.twitter.com/HSd5fZtH4E

      About 100 people here now. People are coordinating to block off traffic with vehicles at 36th street. People turning back traffic at 37th. ( Still pretty quiet apart from some chanting).

      Here's what this block looks like. One corner is gas station where shooting happened. Across street is office for prominent lefty attorney. Kitty corner is vet's office. Then three story apartment building and more housing including duplexes and single family homes.

      A squad drove down Cedar to the crowd at 36th St. People yelled at them. Thumped the hood and eventually they backed up. People with bullhorn keep warning crowd about police preparing teargas or pepper spray but I haven't seen any of that or even any in body armor.pic.twitter.com/Bejd071CPv
