Helen McCrory was a sensational actress and formidable woman in so many ways. I'm so saddened by her early passing and feel so lucky I got to experience so many of her hurricane force performances. Thinking of her family and loved ones. Awful news.

EDINBURGH PALS: My amazing, smart young pal is desperately seeking a new job. They're trans and in a precarious position with housing. They've experience managing a bike shop & working with LGBT youth, but our priority is getting them employed fast with kind allies. Any leads? RT

    1. IMPORTANT: I have only just noticed that Wayne Couzens has been charged. It is REALLY important that we don't comment on him now. His defence team will be alert to the possibility that coverage of his case means he cannot get a fair trial, which risks the trial collapsing.

Contempt of court is real. Sharing/RTs of statements that suggest the outcome of an ongoing case is a foregone conclusion can risk the trial not going ahead. It's not common knowledge but if you've been politely asked to delete, please do! Even if you think it's silencing.

Some very intelligent people are saying some very stupid and highly prejudicial things on social media today. It’s disappointing and of course it is also an offence.

Sarah deserved - and deserves - so much more than justice, but it's the least we need to make sure she receives. Please keep sharing and help make it happen.

Sarah Everard's family are appealing for anyone with information that might assist the investigation to contact police. They have described Sarah as "kind and strong", and have paid tribute to a “wonderful daughter and sister”.
