Pen is pronounced the same way though? It's really obvious that she emphasized the "p" in pen way more strongly than anyone would naturally do in conversation...

Wonderful!!! I saw that live and it drove me so bloody crazy! The girl can’t speak proper English, the way she said pen is totally wrong, nobody will spit the world the way she did.
