    Conditions in Gaza were already dire. The war with Israel has made it worse, leaving more than 200 people dead, the health and sewage systems damaged, schools closed and tens of thousands displaced.

    WOW hours after tweeting about my Palestine TikTok, someone commented ON my TikTok saying "some Arabs want to be killed." Let it be known that sometimes calling something a human rights issue (when it is a human rights issue) can get you responses like this. I reported them :)

    On the other hand, it’s been insane to see the sheer amount of young people who don’t know about this history. They’re seeing it all with fresh eyes and are truly trying to learn more and help in any way they can.

    I made a TikTok saying that you can’t care about human rights without caring about Palestine. Mostly positive comments but I did get a few 15 yr olds saying that anyone that speaks about Palestine is an antisemite. So now kids are conflating calling out injustice w prejudice.

    If Palestinians do nothing, they are killed, their houses demolished or taken, and the world looks away. Refuses to see, refuses to care. If they fight back, by rock or rocket then "there are two sides" to the conflict and Israel is acting in self-defence, in the past and future.
