If Congress had any sense and really cared about the people of their states and country they would write the laws so that Trumps hands were tied. And let him veto and they could override him. Just take him out of the equation.

I agree. Just one little problem:

I bet what he really wants is immunity from prosecution. Someone probably explained to him that even if the Feds don't go after him, NYS certainly can (probably several other states too).

I think this is his end goal. Get re-elected at all costs so that he’s safe for another four years. Then work to get his moron son or c*ntbag daughter-wife elected so he’s safe until he dies, which can’t be soon enough for me.
