Just submitted a research grant proposal. It struck me how "normal" it all felt - but if I would tell 12 year-old me that I'm now researching artificial intelligence for social robots, he'd be completely over the moon! Sometimes it's nice to pause and remember that. #PhDChat

It's crazy that we're only able to start developing any kind of work-life balance after graduating. Aren't we supposed to learn how to be effective members of society in higher education? Now, we're just taught to work until we drop.
