Meanwhile, " promises ~12 hours of use on the 4K version of the XPS 13 [...] and up to 21 hours on the Full HD version [sic]" I am getting literally 1/10th that, and customer service says its "great"!

Not only that...he give me misleading information! The document he cites estimates charging time at 2 hours, not for the battery to last 2 hours!

Are you kidding me ?! Your flagship laptop XPS 13 (apparently a killer) is supposed to give me 2 hours runtime? That's all your support can tell me after 6 months of trying to get support for a faulty unit?

So cool 2 hear about NZ's framework. Must remember - pioneered holistic measurement in 1998 with its Index, where & I had the good fortune to work in 2011. So ahead of its time!

I was just recently talking about a similar shift in power dynamics in the development space more broadly. Don't know if you noticed that at its core we were talking about the same thing.

Only when governments are more accountable to citizens, and the power dynamics shifts fundamentally, will there be more uptake of innovations such as outcomes dashboards, social impact bonds, behavioral science, and tech/data science. So insightful !

How do we get stakeholders caring about outcomes in the government's "boardroom"? How do we hold govts more accountable to long term results? Poignant questions by my dear friend at to which even did not have a good answer! (1/2)

Companies promote sugary food causing childhood diabetes, then our health system has to spend money to handle the damage. But it all adds up to a high , despite loss of private wellbeing. You need more holistic measures of success.

There is a fundamental conflict between public and private objectives. Privatization of prisons led to a strong lobby for laws that would put more people in prison! Exciting to hear at conference

    - But most of all, we need humility to recognize we don't know all the answers, and that we must listen deeply and give power back to the people we are trying to serve.

    - In a business, everyone is accountable to customers ultimately because they pay for services. - There are ways to correct this: new tools e.g. , rapid prototyping, charging nominal client fees, along with new structures of development financing and evaluation from donors.

Key highlights: - Development still retains a legacy of the colonial do-gooder mindset - "Beneficiaries" are rarely engaged in the design, execution and evaluation of projects, because there is a deep power imbalance. The title "beneficiary" itself embodies that imbalance.
