Thunderstrike is fixed in 10.10.x, not fixed in earlier versions of OS X (search for CVE-2014-4498): http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204244

@rtrouton To call it, "fixed," is absolute fantasy. A good chunk of the boot process would need to change to fix this. -
