As a reminder, the @splcenter identified Brent last year after he penned "The Battle of Charlottesville" under the pseudonym "Robert Bruce." There he described himself as a NC academic who carried a shield for the League of the South (LoS) /2

Importantly, "Robert Bruce" aka Brent Fallin described carrying a shield w/ his right hand (as he's left-handed), wearing goggles, and falling down during the initial skirmish as the Nationalist Front attacked antifascists en route to Emancipation Park. /3https://bit.ly/2DKSZiY

Among the commenters on Fallin's article was Isaac Shelby Baker, a LoSer described by Michael Hill as Commander of the KY Southern Defense Force (SDF). Brent has been unrepentant since UtR. He was listed as Adjutant/Treasurer for the Durham branch of Sons of Confederate Veterans, a group w/ direct links to LoS. Getting word that @DukeMedSchool & @DukeU admin, including the provost, have known about Brent Fallin & did NOTHING. Brent's fellow students alerted admin of his Cville violence at least a month ago, & got a pathetic response. Is inaction defensible here? Students are at risk!
