I recently switched to Safari from @googlechrome
Such a breath of fresh air!
Highlights:
– Much cleaner & calmer UI. No awkward white toolbar.
– ESC key deselects location field
– Feels much faster & scrolls smoother

You can use Safari Technology Preview as a hack (what I’m currently trying out now for my personal stuff.)

I don't use any chrome extensions, so I'm fine. For a while I used the 1password ext but it never really worked that great, so I just manually copy-paste with 1p nowadays.

What do you mean can’t browse in full screen in Chrome?
-
1. enter fullscreen mode on macOS 2. enter a different URL in the location field and press return Nothing happens. The workaround is to restart chrome (or open the js console and do document.location.href="newurl") Usually happens when you're in macOS split-screen.

Do you get on terms with the inspector in safari?
-
Yeah, it's fine for most things I need to do. Seems to have been improved recently, BTW.
