I forgot how fun non-academic texts on meditation can be. From my teacher’s new book on the ideas of Dölpopa (the controversial, genius founder of the Jonang school of Buddhism): “Primordial Awareness is not a guy that we hang out with” 😂 (Free PDF link: )

Great session with professors talking about what we hope students might get out of politically charged conversations in the classroom - and what we fear might go wrong 🙏

Today I fully embraced my millennial professor status and sent a screenshot of a viral tweet to my research methods class to reinforce the point of practice theory: it's dangerous to talk about social forces as if they somehow existed apart from human action 🤓

Only when you really despise a research area do you begin your scholarly article with the phrase "Nonsense science is a living, evolving thing" 😮

Thanks finally to for really developmental feedback on an early version of this project and to our editor and the reviewers who (among other things) encouraged our exploratory approach, rather than trying to force fit us into a rigid template 😊 (10/10)

Practical implications include (per ) that managers can't simply offload wellbeing onto employees: situational factors they control erode mindfulness! We also provide needed guidance for implementing 's "on-the-spot" mindfulness interventions 💪 (9/N)

Future research should thus definitely unpack how people develop these metacognitive beliefs, which seem to be a crucial link between what we do during formal training and how we attempt to be mindful during everyday situations. Our new scale is a helpful place to start 🙏 (8/N)
