    The Serpent (Netflix) is like an 8 hour creepy suspense thriller that I will have 8 hours of nightmares about tonight, but then I'll tell all my friends they have to watch it. Then I'll forget about it in 3 months and be like, "Snake movies are over" to anyone who mentions it.

    Fucked up: I ask my partner if he has read the details of the shooting murder that occurred and then he answers by informing me about a different shooting murder that I already know about instead of the one I am asking about. Because there are that many in the US. It's normal.

    In eighth grade, my class went on a field trip to Philly. We made a pit stop at a mall and I bought DMX's It's Dark and Hell is Hot, which had just been released. I remember when one of the teachers asked to see what I bought, I hid it like it was contraband, lol.

    Yep

    People with burnout will lie to you. Not because they intend to, they're lying to themselves too. If someone tells you they're feeling "a little bit burned out", you should take it very seriously, because by the time they're ready to admit that to themselves, shit's already bad

    A $15 minimum wage was already a compromise. Now some Democrats are blocking it. $1400 survival checks was already a compromise. Now some Democrats have taken them away from 17M people. We have the House, Senate, and White House. Blocking more help for people is unjustifiable.
