Off to Taiwan for today, but here's a tidbit for ya: Google is working on a "mobile" device based on the Snapdragon 710 currently scheduled for launch in the 1st half of 2019. Sounds like this might be the (or one of them) upcoming mid-range Pixel phone.

No I do not know if there is one planned for this year. No I do not know any specifics in this device, only the CPU. Hardware dev work in this only just started about a month ago.

Launch on year 2019! That is way more slower than old nokia of 2009. XIAOMI will launch MI 8SE later this month based on Snapdragon 710 (this is called ahead of time) and these jerks (google) wanna fool us next April Fool with overpriced & outdated hardware!
I love my pixel, and hence will always want if it has latest hardware better than anyone in the market. I would simply love if Qualcomm comes with some SoC better than 845, for pixel to compete with Galaxy S9 and successor of iPhone X.
