    For my Fall 2019 graduate course , I created an assignment on ethics for data visualization where students were asked to create a "black hat" and a "white hat" visualization of the same data. A fun and illuminating experience!

    There’s a big difference between diversity and inclusion. Diversity is getting everyone in the room. Inclusion is making sure each person has equal voice and opportunities. Inclusion without diversity is unfair. Diversity without inclusion is cruel. We desperately need both.

    Is there a difference between Cool Ranch and Nacho Cheese Doritos? Given two (possibly same) chips, so far in my experiment only 4 of 7 blindfolded participants guessed correctly whether their two chips were the same or not.
