When you refer to content made for kids, is
@TeamYouTube referring to children under 18, under 13, or essentially babies? Pretty valid question. Also, what about content that has some children in the audience, but adults may enjoy it too - what happens there?3 replies 1 retweet 58 likes -

First, the age of a child is defined by your country–more: https://yt.be/help/pE5Q Second, the key is to evaluate your content & target audience on a video-by-video basis to determine if it's specifically made for kids (vs just appropriate for kids). More resources on this soon.

So sad that kids are now going to be directed away from child friendly content and towards adult content . Only under 5 year olds will watch youtube kids.

They will give a free pass to DanTDM and other Minecraft youtubers while probably ruining other Minecraft related content like machinimas and animations when they share the same demographics, because kids get tired of gameplays and want animations sometimes. Pointless rule.
