Big companies seem to be pretty effective at creating labs groups that subvert their own hierarchy, IMHO

Agreed. Also depends on magnitude - corporates tend to struggle w/ small scale but good w/ massive problems

Exactly. I wonder when we'll start to see more companies creating real self-run startups vs. labs groups?
