I am a Latino reporter

whose interview request was granted for today. However, I asked the mayor’s office to lift its condition on others and when they said no, we respectfully canceled. Politicians don’t get to choose who covers them.

Sure they do. The default has just been white for so long that when a black person does it, it's an affront to journalism. DeSantis only let's Fox News cover him. That's more damaging than this.
