ICYMI Had FIFA let players wear the “OneLove” armbands, it would have been a story for a couple of days and then the tournament would have become the focus. But FIFA’s ham-handed edicts have only kept the controversy going. Great job!

Awful news: Figure skater Bridget Namiotka, who came forward as victim of sexual abuse by John Coughlin, is dead at 32. “Bridget succumbed to her long struggles with addiction after several very difficult years of dealing with the trauma of sexual abuse.”
The one thing I’ve kept going back to is, What made you think you were entitled to these women’s bodies? What made you think it was OK to treat them as disposable? And it wasn’t just Riley, Dames and Holly. It was everybody.
