Selfishness is an extremely powerful argument against libertarianism. It is a real concern. This is why libertarians MUST contribute time, effort, and capital to their communities and charitable causes. We have to silence this accusation not with words but with action.

How do you deal with animal cruelty and child protection. I think those are the most difficult.
-
I'm confused how anything would be different from now. There'd be victims so there'd be crimes.

"What's your take on Iran or north Korea building nukes that they intend to use on US?" I'm not sure about Iran but North Korea for sure wants to kill us all.
-
No, North Korea/Iran want to make sure we don't kill them. If they used nukes on another country it would ensure their destruction. Same with any nuclear country. Countries want to have nukes so the US does not pull an Iraq/Libya on them.

I don't know that it's a great argument, but the statement that libertarians are extremists. I think people see our tangible ideas for smaller government and think we will implement anarchy. While I love my ANCAPS, I think most individuals want to be ruled.

“What are presented as the strongest arguments against anarchism are inevitably a description of the status quo.” — Michael Malice (Same goes for a number of anti-libertarianism arguments)

Hi, unfortunately I can't find a source right now. Are you sure he said "inevitably" and not just "invariably"?
