Boris Johnson pledge for 50,000 more nurses not quite what it seems - 12k from abroad, 14k new undergrad students, 5k degree apprenticeships. Which leaves 19k nurses “retained” who would otherwise have left... so not “new” nurses at all

Or fewer people who ski and bungee jump deliberately? Or people who exercise with cardiac issues they didn’t know about? Or people who have brittle bones who walk around bold as brass on hard pavements and stuff?

You know, I am a Canadian trained nurse, worked for 6 years in CAN. I live in the UK with a ancestry Visa, paid double the HSC, and I still do not have my NMC PIN due to the 9 months of red tape. They need to make the process more efficient so ppl like me can work and help out.
