    Such a moving conversation with Xiomara Diaz, , Esra'a al Shafei and Beemnet Taye Kedebe on how is impacting , , communities and women in major ways, and the awareness this is bringing to the plight of vulnerable communities.

    Women are disproportionately impacted by crises like this. Anytime there’s a crisis we see a spike in domestic violence & we certainly see women on the front lines. Women are the community backbone and the majority of caretakers.

    imagine having a passport that allows you to move freely between, live in and work in 28 countries, including many of the worlds most affluent, with excellent free health care and social services wherever you go & voting to tear that passport up and be stranded on an island.

    What a great news on the day of Global Refugee Forum! Denmark denies asylum for 3 Syrian women, not bcs Syria is at war but as per individuals personal situations due to an earlier decision that people from “Damascus” will not be granted automatic asylum
