      To be fair, the v3 http://Mail.app  mailbox layout has gotten significantly better and is much more inode friendly.

          I just wish Apple Mail used HFS+ Compression for all .emlx files. I saved over 20GB setting it manually (which Mail promptly undid…)

          @mcdev Sadly, no. It requires a custom tool that uses private APIs or ditto --hfsCompression
