@ameaijou@mjtsai@danielpunkass Granted, I/O was a significantly larger issue when http://Mail.app used v2 and especially v1 layout -

@ameaijou@mjtsai@danielpunkass I think that's also important to remember, Spotlight and Time Machine are tied to the same FS APIs.
