There are two universal link bugs in iOS. One is new to iOS 9.3 and cause an app to crash on launch if it registered too many subdomains.

The major one is the one Booking triggers. This kills all links forever and an app update *will not* fix it. It exists in iOS 9.0-9.3.
Eat24 and Wikipedia can trigger the new bug on iOS 9.3 and app updates fix it. However, this is NOT the same bug as the bug Booking triggers

The easily fixed bug occurs when iOS scans the entitlements of apps during launch. The not fixable bug occurs when iOS downloads association

And in fact, the easily fixed bug seems to be related to the new wildcard subdomain support for associated domains added in iOS 9.3.
